pictures on canvas...
One of these days when I am finally blessed with a child, I am so going to do a large picture like the one I have pictured here and I think it would look so good on canvas. The big, precious picture above the armoire is of Katie Brown's daughter and this is in Katie Brown's home. It has been featured in Country Home and Cottage Living. Her home is just darling and I love her mix of unique elements. Erin of Elements of Style recently posted some pictures of a condo she decorated. It featured wonderful pictures on canvas. Here is a link to where you can send in your own pictures and they can put them onto canvas. I love this look. I found this image via here!

I love this idea, I tried to get a client to do this but they haven't yet. I really want to do one of these in my guest bedroom. Such a cute picture you posted!
What a geat idea!!! I'm going to have to do it!!
hi there. i was reading thru some of your older posts and came across your sept 8th post regarding your dilemma of painting your interior doors black. let me know if you've made up your mind. if not, i'll send you a link to photos of my former home where all interior doors were black. it was awesome! i loved it. .
Oh Pam, please do send a link! You can post here or send me an email! I do looovvee the look, but I have so many doors. It would take so long! I am pretty sure I will do my one french door I have in a hallway in a high gloss black and maybe do a couple of other plain ones that aren't paneled and then "upholster" them with burlap or cotton duck and nailhead trim. We shall see! So many projects and so little time. :)
here's the link to my past home. as you can see every door is black. they were painted that way by the builder. baseboards and crown moldings were white except for baseboard surrounding staircase... they were black along with stair railings.

Happy new years btw!! :)
